The neighbour teams met

Today night was a meeting for the two neighbour teams in a football match. A match that has concerned the 2 countries by all of its levels; media, news, newspapers.. etc, wherever you go you hear only about this match before a week of its date.
The match was not of high level, but the enthusiasm was so. The result of the match was for the recipient team; Algeria who won 3 to 1 against the ex- African championship Egypt.
Hard luck for Egypt and more concentration for both in the remaining matches on the road to World Cup and African Cup.

The Algerian Scholar Medal, 3rd version

The 4th of June 2009, was a great event in Algiers, when Al-Manahidj institute awarded two of great Algerian scholars, known for their reputation amongst the Algerians; academic and popular.

The pair (1) scholars are: professor Abderrazek Guessoum, who was given the title " The muslim philosopher; God's gift to Algeria" and Mohamed Alhadi Alhasani " The columnist author; moderation pioneer".

The celebration started at 13h30 local time, by visiting the exhibition which contained their pictures and books. At 14h started the second part of the celebration, starting by giving a short presentation of "Al-manahidj in a year: 2008/2009", by Djaber Nacer Bouhedjam and Taha Kouzi.

After the presentation, it was time for the symposium of this event: "Mechanisms of unity activation between muslims" with the animation of Dr mustafa winten –PhD in Theology- and the participation of Dr Guessoum, Mr Alhasani and Dr mohamed Nacer Bouhedjam –PhD in Arabic literarture-. The participants emphasized that the muslims should not look to the differences that are among the Muslim jurisprudence schools. And that if we investigate these schools we will find that all meet on some points which confirms that they are from the same root and origin.

The audience had their part in this event. After the symposium, poets, author, friends… shared the scholars their happy moments. With the notable participation of the poet Dr Mohamed Nacer(2) , who dedicated his poem mainly to his friend Alhasani and of course to Guessoum too. We mention also the participation of the poet Sliman Douag, the vice-president of the High Islamic Council Mr Abdelwahab ben hamouda... and many others.

This event was an occasion to honour the memorizers of the Holy Quran, and the youngest was of 9 years old.

At the end the scholars were given the medal; Dr Guesseum by the scholar of the 1st version- Dr Saad Allah- and Mr Alhasani by his friend Dr Nacer.
The scholars couldn't hide their tears of impression, and they had the last words, in which they praised Allah for what he has given them, and thanked those who helped them to become as they are now and thanked Al-Manahidj Institute for the efforts it does to promote scientific research in Algeria.

(1) - pair because whenever the 1st is mentioned the 2nd will be followed.
(2) - who won the previous version of this medal together with Dr Djamel Mimuni (astrology).
